A Little About Me

I know what it feels like to live with anxiety. I lived with it for many years. I also know what it feels like to struggle with fear, self-doubt, low self-worth, people pleasing, and the feeling that my voice didn't matter.Through journaling, faith, moments of truth, and God's gentle guidance, my life began to change from the inside out. My healing journey wasn't just one single big moment, but thousands of small moments of truth that slowly led me from anxiety to peace.Today I live with more peace, joy, and freedom than I ever imagined, and my story is proof that healing is possible. If my story encourages even one person to believe that healing is possible for them too, then every step of my journey has been worth it.

❦ Soul Reflections

From My Journal

This is how so many mornings began...
Before the world woke up, I met with my soul.

My Right To Choose

For a long time, I did not realize how often my right to choose was overridden. At the beginning, often by others first, but eventually even by myself. I learned to say "Yes" when something inside me wanted to say "No", and sometimes I said "No" to things my heart really wanted to say "Yes" to. And somewhere along the way I slowly was losing touch with something God had given me when I was born–My free will.My healing journey has helped me to reclaim that choice for my mind, my body, and my soul. I am learning to listen to what I truly feel and believe, and to give my own voice permission to speak. My "Yes" deserves to be a real "Yes", and my "No" deserves to be a real "No", and I have the right to choose what feels right for me.

God's No – The Path Within

I asked God for many things throughout my life. Some prayers were answered with a "Yes," and others seemed to be answered with a "No." At the time, I didn't always understand why.Today I understand it much better. God's "No" was never meant to hurt or disadvantage me. It was actually leading me towards something I could not see then. What once felt like a "No" to my prayers became a beautiful invitation into the deepest inner journey of my life. God's "No" was actually a "Yes" - a "Yes" to grow, to learn, and to discover parts deep within myself I may have not found otherwise.

Taking Up My Space

Dear little Gisela,Today I finally understand why you made yourself so small. You weren't weak, and you weren't insignificant. You were a little girl doing everything you could to survive in a world that often made you believe your voice, your feelings, and your worth didn't matter. But you are not that little girl any more, and you were never created to shrink yourself either. You were created in God's image, just like every other soul, and God placed beautiful gifts within your spiritual DNA. They have always been there. It is time to let them shine.

Can You Hear Me Now?

For years, I didn't understand how deeply being silenced had shaped me. I tried to be heard by working harder, pleasing more, staying agreeable, and making myself useful--as if I had to earn the right to have a voice.Today I understand that my voice was never something I had to earn. Healing is teaching me to speak from my heart, express what I feel, and allow my voice to take up its rightful space. And maybe, by using mine, I can help someone else remember that theirs deserves to be heard too.

Acceptance

Acceptance isn't always accepting life's circumstances. Sometimes it's accepting a love that feels too good to be true. For years I questioned whether God could really love me unconditionally because most of the love I had experienced came with conditions.Slowly, through journaling, healing, and repeated dates with my soul, my heart finally accepted what my soul had always known. With such beautiful clarity now, I know, I am unconditionally loved by God, and that realization became one of my truest "Soul Truth Moments".

Who Told Me that?

One of the greatest discoveries on my healing journey was realizing that not every belief I carried was true. Some had been passed down to me, some were formed through painful experiences, and some quietly became the lens through which I saw myself, others, and even God.Today, I no longer accept every belief as truth. I pause, examine it, and ask, "does this thought leave me felling unworthy, unsafe, fearful, or anxious?" Or does it lead me toward peace, love, hope, and freedom? Perhaps the ego speaks first, but my soul always speaks truth. And little by little, my true self learned to follow the voice of truth.

Spiritual Breakfast

Every morning begins with a choice. Before the world asks for attention, there is a quiet moment where two inner voices wait to be heard. One leans toward fear and problems, while the other gently offers peace, hope, and possibility. The voice we nourish first often shapes the day we experience. This is why I begin my day with what I call a "spiritual breakfast." Before I feed my body, I offer my soul a few quiet moments of truth, reflection, and gratitude. It is a gentle way of remembering who I am before the noise of the world tries to tell me otherwise.

Intuition

A few days ago, someone explained a situation to me. As I listened, I quietly felt that something wasn't exactly the way it was being presented. I couldn't explain it, and I had no proof. I simply knew. Today, the truth came to light, and I smiled. My intuition had been right.Moments like this remind me how much my healing journey has changed me. I have learned to trust that gentle inner knowing more and more. It isn't loud or demanding. It simply whispers. Perhaps our intuition is one of the ways our soul speaks to us.

❦ Soul Wisdom

πŸ‚ Soul Wisdom

God's No wasn't punishment.
It had a bigger purpose.

πŸ‚ Soul Wisdom

A silenced voice is still a voice.
Healing turns the volume back up.

πŸ‚ Soul Wisdom

Just because I believed it for years
doesn't mean it was ever true.

πŸ‚ Soul Wisdom

A spiritual breakfast feeds the soul.
The rest of the day flows from there.

πŸ‚ Soul Wisdom

We all come into this world with a soul.
The journey begins when we become aware of it.

πŸ‚ Soul Wisdom

The soul never shouts.
It speaks with gentleness, truth, and love.

πŸ‚ Soul Wisdom

Acceptance doesn't change reality.
It changes the eyes through which we see it.

πŸ‚ Soul Wisdom

Knowledge fills your mind,
but wisdom changes your heart.
